Setting Up a Subscription:

Start by logging in at http://watchlist.xicast.com/login.aspx

Next, Add a New Subscription.

Edit your Subscription Information

Assign your subscription a name:

Select a City:

Add a Group to monitor

Add a Category to monitor:

Your category has been added. You will be notified whenever any new posts arrive in this category. You may add additional categories to monitor to this subscription.

Edit your Subscription:
Select the "edit" link next to your subscription name.

From the Edit Subscription form, you can add or delete categories to monitor, Edit the subscription settings or Delete the subscription entirely.

Setting up a Keyword Filtered Subscription

Keyword Filtered subscriptions are used to filter your notifications down to only messages containing keywords you're looking for. Only looking for a "Ford Ranger" in the Cars for Sale category? Enabling a Keyword Filtered subscription will filter out only the posts containing "Ford" and "Ranger".

Begin by creating a new subscription, selecting "Keyword Filtering" as the type.

Name your subscription, then select the city.

Once the subscription has been created, select the "Edit" link to set the keyword options

Enter in the keywords you wish to filter for. NOTE: keyword groups are separated by commas. In this example, we're searching for BOTH "Powerbook" and "G4" in the post. If we only enter "powerbook g4" without the comma, ListListener will look for that exact term in the post. If it isn't found, you won't be notified.

Select whether ALL keywords are required to be notified or be notified if ANY of the keywords are found in the post.

Direct Mode: This option will read the email address of the Craigslist poster and send you a notice on behalf of the poster's email address. The entire contents of the post will be included in your email. The only thing you will have to do after receiving the notice is hit "Reply" in your email program and the poster will be contacted!

Note: if the poster has failed to include an email address in their post, you will receive the notice from ListListener.com.

Now add your categories to monitor.
